Yes, that is a picture of Miley Cyrus dancing around a stripper pole like a peadophiles wet dream. Shame on the corprate assholes who thought it was appropriate for a stripper pole to be erected on the stage at an event geared towards children and young teenagers. Yes people, The Teen Choice Awards - Come on teenage girls dance around a stripper pole! Shame on her ignorant parents for working her like some kind of demented performance slave, allowing her to go out with a guy who is nearly as old as I am and letting her dance around objectifying herself like a prize fucking pig. What the fuck happened to feminism? Decency? Sense? I feel fucking sorry for 'Tween Stars' like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez who will probably all crash and burn by the time they reach their twenty first birthdays. They are a generation of fucking nitwits who are being manipulated and controlled by their obviously pushy and greedy parents whose only hope at making their own lives sucessful is by living theirs precariously through their own children.

Do any of these children actually go to school? I don't beleive that any child who travels and works that much could have anything that resembles a decent education or is the opinion these days that if you have money you don't need an education? I mean look at Britney, not very talented, can't really sing and is obviously not the sharpest pencil in the box really is she? I for one can already see Miley Cyrus falling out of a hollywood nightclub with her skirt around her head and no knickers on and judging from the picture above it probably won't be too long in the future either........

In other media news Kerry Katona is fat again and wants to have more plastic surgery to have it all sucked out. Liposuction twice in one year that really is amazing I mean is it me or is she bankrupt? How do people who are bankrupt pay for plastic surgery exactly? Not with the money from a reality tv show that only pulled in an MTV audience of 19,000 viewers thats for sure.

Fuck me people are so fucking lazy these days, I'd rather donate the money to a fucking heroin addict than admit to being so fucking lazy I couldn't bothered to get off my fat arse and do a bit of bloody excercise. Perhaps if Kerry Katona stopped paying some woman to run around after her twenty children and actually did it herself, instead of sitting on the couch screaming and crying over ugly baldy fuck pig Mark Croft, well maybe then she'd lose the bloody weight.

Writer's Diary

2000 words written today and I felt as though I'd done enough to stop then I was stopped dead in my tracks by a fabulous writer friend of mine who sent me an email reminding me of all the reasons why so many people fail in their lives; because they don't work hard enough. Why did I think that 2000 words was enough? Why did I feel that it was appropriate to stop? Laziness outright laziness. I'm going to keep on writing for the rest of the day and the night because we all know that I'd be awake twittering incessantly until three am, if you have a dream it is just not enough to work at it a few hours a day, you have to work at it constantly because if you don't then you are destined to spend your life at the bottom of the pond of life looking up wondering why you never made it. I got a email 'spanking' today and it's the best thing that could have happened. Indeed we do not live in a world where novels write themselves and money falls from the sky and pussy grows on trees.

Also I have a secret project to work on with aformentioned writer friend and I fully intend to devote much time to this dream also. There is no time for Agorophobia and Depression and all the other excuses we have in our lives to not be good enough. Albeit Agorophobia is an obstacle but it's one I shall over come and while I am barricaded in the attic of my mother's house I'm going to write a masterpiece entitled 'The Problem With Helena' A novel about a neurotic Irish mother who is stuck in the bottom of the pond.

Ok Media Stories that have been interesting me today ( you know I've got to throw in my ten cent!) the first being is that The LA Times Rob Abcarian has written an article about Perez Hilton - I didnt know whether to laugh or cry when I read it. I always seem to oscillate somewhere between pissing myself with laughter at him and wanting to pay someone to slit his throat. Now being honest I pride myself on being a calm person who always tries to reach the lofty heights of 'Good Karma' that said any one who has read previous blog articles will have realised that I can indeed be particularly acid tongued when it comes to 'certain people' (namely Mary Hearney, Brien Lenihan and Brian Cowen - who looks like he is actually slowly morphing into a cow) and have decided that really his acension into American Super Stardom is really down to the fact that
1. He is a funny funny Man - cruel but funny.
2. He is a great business man (pulling in SEVENTY GRAND for a 24 hour banner AD)
3. He has a great eye for talent - If Perez says they're good then they probably are.

So it would appear that whether we like him not he's here to stay and his star is continuing to rise and as a fellow blogger who hopes to make my earnings from an internet based business I can only take my hat off to him and say fair play. So what if he says things that are a bit harsh and seems to do it with the panche of a fruit fly? Like all things media if you keep buying into it will just get bigger and bigger kind of like an eternal erection.

On that note I took the liberty of checking out www.perezhilton.com and having a look at what goodies he has for us today - I had to laugh 'Victoria Beckham - Light as a feather, stiff as a board.' It really hit the nail on the head with that one. Sometimes she infuriates me so much I don't even know what to say about her other than she was never good in front of a camera not even back in the Spice Girl days, I shudder whilst remembering union jack dresses and shouting 'GIRL POWER' at every one that came near me. Fuck I was hardly a feminist was I? There's a surprise a Lesbian Feminist WOW I really put myself in a box there eh?

Anyway back to Talentless Spice who clearly doesn't and never had a personality, while her Spin People claim that she has has a 'dry' and 'Witty' sense of humour - I dare say the only thing about Victoria Beckham that is dry is her brain and her vagina. When I saw the documentary (term used loosely) that Victoria filmed on her move to L.A the only thing that made me laugh was the way she incessantly went around the place exclaiming that this was 'Major' and that was 'Major' pronouced in her far from posh accent 'MAJA'; she reminded me of the idiot from Mean Girls that went about calling everything Fetch trying to set a trend. I'd hardly call her a trend setter - I'd rather run down Rodeo Drive naked covered in Heinz Tomato Sauce than prance about with a Hermes Birkin bag that costs more than I get paid in a year and is made from slaughtered crocodiles. Yeah cos slaughtering animals for fashion is like so major people??!! Apparently she bombed when she joined the crew for American Idol - hardly surprising in fact I'm surprised she has enough energy to hold the weight of her head let alone entertain people.

In other news Peter Andre is still milking his 'Poor me my wife's a bitch' routine for all its worth and his former other half has been promoting her new book yet another autobiography (she's now on her forth? Hello who the fuck is reading this tripe) presumably that she wrote herself but didn't really write herself just like all the other books she's 'written'. Author and Katie Price don't go into the same universe let alone sentance.... Bitch Please don't even get me started, the sooner this idiot disappears into obscurity the sooner we can find some other useless twit to read about.

'Black Dog Break' - Agorophobia Diary

In my abscence which some may or may not have noticed I've been tucked away for the week in my rather comfortable futon/bed with 'The Black Dog' or rather 'The White Cat' while depression (The Black Dog) seems to be on the decline for the first time in over a year - thanks to the miracle medicatioin that is Zispin, anxiety (The White Cat) has now reached an all time high. Panic Attacks have reached fever pitch and no amount of 'guided meditation' has made a blind bit of difference. Agorophobia is the order of the day and you'd think being trapped in the house would be a good thing for a writer? It would appear not so, manical anxiety left me in a panic unable to concentrate and I find myself asking that oh so annoying question - How did my life turn out like this?? So what followed was a trip to the GP where I sat in the waiting room sweating at the thought of being surrounded by Swine Flu infected zombies twisting my palms like a reject from a Stacey Slater audition for Eastenders. Once I got in there and started talking to the DR of course I didnt know what to say but she's a fabulous woman and has 'referred' me to an Anxiety Management Centre - YAY! There's something to look forward to, the point being knowing the state of the HSE (Ireland's incredibly poor excuse for health care system) I'll no doubt be waiting months for an appointment. Leaving me with no choice but to just accept the ridiculous situation that I've found myself in, thus I am now the proud owner of TWO blogs, A Bebo page, A facebook page, A Twitter (my fave) and a TV feed (more on that later!)I've barricaded myself into the house and unless the doctor spoon feeds me Xanax or some miracle worker of a psych nurse cures me barricaded I shall remain! On the upside Ive been doing some sleep hypnotherapy with a video that I found Youtube and it's worked a treat, I'll post info about the guy that does the videos for you guys later in case you want to have a crack at it.

I havent had a panic attack for three days now which is this first break I've had in about two months you never know perhaps this blog will be the diary of my freedom from the Panic Stricken nightmare that is my life - maybe this extended period 'down time' is the perfect opportunity to get some work done. After all I have decided on embark on a life of self employment I don't think I can tolerate working for any more potato faced farts in some stuffy office - the last office I worked in was an NTL Call Centre and I literally almost threw myself out the fucking window with depression after being screamed at by ingnorant wankers incessantly for eight hours. It'll all be great if I could just stay calm and concentrate long enough to get my businesses off the ground!

So back to the agorophobia - the next trip into the outside world will be taking place this tuesday which I am already in knots over - as long as no 'IDIOTS!' decide to stand in front of me and hold up the show things will be ok! I fear that I might completely lose the run of myself and have a meltdown in front of the whole town (wouldn't it be lovely to give them all something to talk about) and start screaming like a crazed banshee or an escaped mental patient. I'll keep you updated, maybe I'll ever make a video of it. Watch this space.

Bomber Responsible For Murdering 270 Wants A 'Compassionate' Release From Prison

Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi(AKA The Lockerbie Bomber)is dying from Cancer and has requested an early release from prison on compassionate grounds. Compassion? Where was his compassion when he killed 270 innocent people on Pan Am flight 103, Libya his home country, wanted him transferred back there under the Prison Transfer Treaty between the United Kingdom and Libya and as yet this hasn't happened because he had an appeal pending.

What do my fellow bloggers think? Should a man responsible for all these needless deaths be released from prison on compassionate grounds - to enjoy the last few months of his wretched existence? I consider myself to be a very compassionate woman but this is too much for me. Why should we feel sorry for him just because he has cancer? His crime is so extreme that I don't think the scottish authorities should show him any compassion at all. Hundreds, no thousands of people all over the world are dying from cancer and they don't get very dignified deaths. He probably has a better standard of medical care in the prison than most cancer patients on the outside. I can't feel any compassion for this evil cretin, I think they should leave him to rot.

The Great Television Ban - Day Three

Ok so I've got to admit it.......it's really starting to get to me now! I can't even walk into the living room for the fear of god there's something on that I want to watch!! ARGH! Today is shitty, it's raining cats and dogs outside, I mean it's really pelting it down!! All I want to do is curl up with tea and watch some soaps or the documentary that I recorded about King Cobras!!

I'm getting Television withdrawals, I can't concentrate and I'm tired. I'm feeling totally lazy today like I dont want to do anything only watch the TELLY! Which is in effect a total load of bollocks!! I have piano to practise and half a novel to write........oh god oh god oh god. I might have to take the batterys out of the remote control and fling them somewhere - then rip off the ON button on the TV and then I'd have no choice. The nearest shop is about a mile away and I'll be fucked if Im walking a mile in the rain to buy more batterys.........hmmm good plan. Going to carry out plan this minute or I'll never survive the ban!

Mary Harney Rips Off The Elderley

Mary Harney has once again left me flabbergasted and asking the question ‘Why does this witch still hold her position as Irelands Health Minster?’ Under The Government Funding Initiative called for by Mary Harney in 2006 (apparently to improve funding levels in nursing homes across the country) this September nursing home residents will be expected to contribute 80% of their disposable income and 5% of their non cash assets to pay for the cost of their ‘bed and board’. This ridiculous scheme also expects 15% of the value of a resident’s home to contribute to the cost of their care AFTER their death.

This is apparently what the Government considers to be a ‘Fair Deal’! HA! Mary Harney makes me sick to the pit of my stomach, is there any level she won’t stoop to, to save money for the HSE. She’s closing hospitals left right and centre without investing a penny in the expansion of existing hospitals or buying badly needed Hospital beds. All the while the Government have every intention of cutting funding for the Health Service on the advice of Colm McCarthy; an economist who hasn’t got a fucking iota of knowledge of what it’s like to Not live a privileged existence.

This ‘Fair Deal’ nursing homes fund does include funding for incontinence pads, all therapies, social programmes, chiropody, ophthalmic and dental services, transport, care assistant costs or specialised wheel chairs. The elderly will be expected to pay for all of the above with the remaining 20% of the disposable income they have left.

In what dimension of what universe does the useless cretin who came up with this bullshit think that this is a ‘Fair Deal’ taking into consideration that the McCarthy report is suggesting cutting the carers allowance for the elderly on top of all that.

I for one am spitting nails over Mary Harneys half arsed attempt to do her job properly. The elderly people built this country, they brought Ireland to where it is today and our health minister wants to leave them rotting in piss poor nursing homes with no dignity, no money to leave to their relatives and no enjoyment out of the rest of their lives. She may as well suggest we put the elderly down like dogs – they’d probably be better off!

The Great Television Ban - Day Two

Ok so I have to admit it is kind of getting to me!! I cheated a little, I checked Sky News Interactive this morning for any signs of global catastrophe but I guess that's kind of ok right?? I mean technically I was reading.......What do you guys think? Did I cheat??

As we speak my sister is in the living room....I can hear her watching something ridiculous like Kendra (which is a stupid fucking reality TV hot mess) I'm tempted to go in and plonk myself down next to her with a cuppa but I'm going to resist. In fact even though I'm only in Day Two I have a considerable amount done - I've written two articles of a political nature (only one posted) and have considerably defaced a picture of Brian Lenihan. Success.

It is hard though, Im getting withdrawals....What happened to Claire in Coronation Street? How is Eastenders handling the Bipolar storyline? Did Syed shag Christian yet? Is it important? No. The only thing I really miss is watching movies late at night albeit I did get a really good nights sleep. Day Two success me thinks? Does anyone think that watching television is ok if you're watching documentaries? I have one recorded on the Sky Plus about the King Cobra but if I watch it then that really will be cheating. If it's a documentary then technically your brain is being engaged, you're not really 'switched off'.

I had to laugh at comedian Frankie Boyle when he said 'Television companies may aswell have a fella standing in front of the camera holding a bunch of keys saying 'Look at the Shiny Shiny'. I nearly broke my arse laughing at him - so true!

Ireland's Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has announced that he doesn't want to wait until the December Budget to impliment the cut backs on government spending as out lined in the 'An Bord Snip Nua' report put together by Colm McCarthy. He also announced that he isn't going to raise taxation in the next budget, making his 4 BILLION worth of savings entirely from cuts in public spending.

I understand entirely that our government cannot continue to borrow 400 BILLION a WEEK to cover public spending - but why should the citizens have to pay the price for the fact that the Government didn't save a fucking CENT during the Celtic Tiger. Now they're going to save money by attacking public servants (AGAIN) cutting 17 THOUSAND jobs and taking money from those who need it the most - The elderly, the sick and the poor. God bless fucking Ireland eh?

For years TD's have been campaigning for more money to be invested into Health and Education and I'm shocked and astounded that Economist Colm McCarthy (apparently an educated man) has recommended in his ridiculous report that we INCREASE the student - teacher ratio and cut funding for special needs assistants and language support teachers. Which when you consider the amount of non english speaking people that live here is just not feasible. I'm actually ashamed to call my self Irish and I'm sorry I didn't stay in Australia when I got the chance. I hope young Irish people do the intelligent thing and immigrate to other countries where their Governments aren't such useless self serving hypocrites.

Why don't you increase the level of taxation for people earning more than a hundred grand a year Lenihan? Why don't you cut your own fucking wages before you cut 5% from Social Welfare payments and 30Euro a month from child benefit?

If we were French the people wouldn't stand for this hypocritical nonsense. We have been docile and confused for too long - People of Ireland wake up and smell the bloody coffee we're being made complete fools of. George Lee the new Fine Gael Deputy is the only person who appears to be talking any sense today - I quote

Also a very honest Doctor has written in his name is John Barton and he works at Portiuncula Hospital, he has advised that his wages have hiked up to the tune of TWENTY FIVE GRAND. Isn't it bloody hilarious that people who are already over paid get a raise in their wages while the Health Service Executive suggests cutting services to the sick. Colm McCarthy's report makes no reference to this fact while it makes recommendations to cut Welfare Payments and charge for medications.

What a Preposterous country we live in? An Elitest bigoted self serving country where we keep the poor down and the rich up. I hope the people of Ireland show some solidarity and fucking revolt against this oppressive corrupt Government. As for the Taoiseach (should be renamed tooshit) he isn't fit to run up the stairs never mind run a country.

The Shame Of Catholic Ireland

The Priests and Nuns of Ireland have alot of explaining to do! And a hell of a lot of compensation to pay out to the hundreds of people who have had their lives destroyed by the abuse they were subjected to in Irish Care Homes. These care homes are places where the most vulnerable children in our society needed love support nurturance and importantly faith. Instead peadophile priests used them for thier own sick gratification. None of these priests will ever be brought to justice, how can they hide behind the cloth and deny what all Irish people have known along? Its no wonder that no one in ireland has any faith in the church any more and those that do must be sick or blind or both.
I beleive it is now up to the vatican to pay out a hefty sum to ALL those affected and if they are not still living then the compensation should be donated to charities for child abuse survivors. It's 2am, I'm sitting in my attic smoking another Silk-Cut, the television is on in the back ground but I'm not really watching it, my tea has gone cold and my mind has gone blank. Valium has taken the edge off of what was essentially a bad day and with out it I may have lost my mind completely and rampaged through the streets of the town screaming at the top of my lungs. The 'Recession' (which is nothing but an effect of the cyclical nature of our fiscal system) has punched me in the face and pissed on me, when other more fortunate people are swanning about on yachts in the South of France sipping champagne and shagging each other. There is no work to had anywhere and having had my car repossed and being a dweller of countryside town my chances of finding any work are getting slimmer by the day. Now I don't want to my first post to be maudlin and I understand that we make our own luck so I'm determined to make mine. It is now essential for me to become an internet mogul, other's are doing it and I've decided that it's time for me to cut my slice of the pie. How is the question??

Over the last few years (november 2007 till the present day) I have been battling an inherited form of severe depression, that I now call 'The Black Dog' which turned me from a happy go lucky kinda gal to an agoraphobic panic stricken mess. The Black Dog had more or less rendered me powerless, over the last year I had fed him Ciprager, Seroxat, Cymbalta, Effexor, Xanax, Calmax, Zimovane, Zimoclone, Stilnoct and finally Zispin. Now I have taken to feeding The Black Dog the Zispin and many cups of tea and and taking a more spiritual view of life.
I have read Ronda Byrne's 'The Secret' and bought the DVD which cost an extortionate amount of money, I have studied the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and read both 'A New Earth' and 'Stillness Speaks' I have also studied the teaching's of Louise L Hay and Ester and Jerry Hicks. All of the above beleive that your thoughts create your reality, so here I am, enlightened and ready to go. The Law Of Attraction - Is it ingenious step in the right direction or security for fools who can't find faith in organised religion? Well I'm about to embark on a journey. Having studied the teachings for the next month I am going do the visualisations, put in the work and each day analyse how my reality changes as I adjust my thoughts. I am in fact going to do 'an experiment' in The Law Of Attraction.

Seven years ago I was living out of a suitcase in London, pawning my jewellery for money for food and scavenging fag butts from ashtrays but relentlessly writing away at what was my original first novel (which was on floppy disks - How Vintage!) of course I couldn't pay my rent on my shitty bedsit and the I was effectively homeless. At my lowest ebb I called my mother who had relocated to Ireland, she paid for a one way ticket out of London and I spent two days waiting for the flight pawning every possesion I had left to find the ticket for the train fair to Heathrow airport. The wankers at baggage control made me leave behind most of the belongings that I had left because my suitcase was too heavy and thus eventually I made it back to Charleville Co.Cork.
In hindsight I realise that things aren't quite as bad as they once were, I enjoyed the effects of the Celtic Tiger for a few years though I racked up an unbelieveable amount debt. It didn't bother me though because I had a brilliant job in Sales (which would be soul destroying for a creative type like me but the perks of the job just made everyday worth it) then the recession came and once again I found myself in my mother's house, sleeing on a mattress with most of the things that I valued taken away from me. In fact I realised a few days ago that I am more or less right back where I started only Im up to my eye balls in debt. Then I watched The Zeigeist Movement and it made me even more depressed, my spirit crushing debt is what is essentially funding the playboy life style of the small percentage of people in the world who occupy something like ten percent of all the worlds wealth. Now I am by no means a greedy person, I dont really want to be rich I would just like to live alone in a little house grow a few strawberries and maybe a marijuana plant or two and write and play my piano - I really don't think it's asking alot!
So (I'm finally getting to the point) I've decided that this is going to be my year, I'm going to live my life by more spirtual principles, I'm going to meditate visualise give and reap the rewards of this abundant universe and see what it returns to me. Things couldn't really get any worse so for me the only way is up!
I have The L Word playing in the background on the TV, for me it's like a sneak peek into a parrell universe where everyone is rich and sucessful and all women fancy each other - it's my idea of heaven. Unfortunately for me it couldn't possibly be further from the reality of what life is like for lesbian's in Ireland. In fact I'm not even an 'out' Lesbian, in this oppressed stifled Irish Society it's impossible to be anything other than what everyone else is - Boring and Drunk. This blog will be my foray into 'The Law of Attraction - Scam or Savior' and the experience of coming out in a small Irish Town which should prove for some fairly interesting reading I would imagine!

Goncarlo Amaral is the former police officer from Portugal who led the botched inquiry for the McCanns missing daughter Madeleine. Madeleine's parents are to sue the toe rag for defamation after Goncarlo made claims that Madeleine is dead and that her parents had concealed her body.
Pathetic Amaral has also made a TV documentary and written a book called "The Truth Of the Lie". The McCanns are outraged that Amaral is still continuing to promote the rumour that Madeleine is dead and are sure that this is hampering the family's efforts to find her. I hope they get justice.
Personally I think that if Amaral was the officer leading the investigation and he's convinced the McCanns are guilty - then why didnt his team find any evidence against them? The Portuguese police haven't a clue what happened to Madeleine and they tried to blame it on the people they thought they'd get away with blaming it on. Then this callous scumbag writes a book and makes a documentary with not a shred of solid evidence to support his claims. I hope the asshole rot's in the pits of fucking hell.

Media Mouthoff - Soap Awards

Watched a small section of the British Soap Awards 2009 tonight. Hmmm it was mildly entertaining, I actually watched most of it until Peter Andre and Katie Price came out - Two five year olds could have performed better, you could actually see some of the actors laughing at them. I couldn't help but wonder when it was filmed? Jesus they really dragged it out until the bitter end didn't they.
Michelle Keegan who plays Tina in Coronation Street won Sexiest Female - a well deserved title in my opinion! I heard on the grapevyne that she auditioned for a part in another soap but they turned her down. Idiots. Scott Maslen who plays Jack Branning in Eastenders won Sexiest Male - He's a handsome lad but I don't think there's too much competition in the sexy stakes in Eastenders. I mean Robert Kazinsky was nominated and he's not even in Eastenders any more.
I was completely shocked to see that Gray O'Brien who plays Tony Gordon in Corrie won the award for Villian of The Year. He's a fantastic actor and Tony is a brilliant character and is indeed very Villainous but Chris Coghill who plays Eastenders Peado Tony King is an outstanding actor and played such a difficult part. He definately should have won this award and I think I saw a grimace on his face when it wasn't him. A travesty!
Thats as far as I got before the two Celebrity Dimwits came along and crashed the party. Katie Price has clearly turned into some kind of deranged mutant barbie......... Aside from that though Soap Actors really dont get enough credit for the upstanding acting that they perform. The Writers and Directors don't get enough credit for their creativity either, British Soaps are fantastic!! So raise to cup of tea to the Actors and Actresses of Soap!!

I watched the Channel 4 Documentary 'Madeline Was Here' last night, I also watched the Oprah Winfrey Special and I have to say both documentaries were compelling and very revealing. My heart goes out to Kate and Gerry McCann, for all that they have lost and for the terrible way that they have been treated. It is clear that there is no evidence at all to suggest that Kate or Gerry had anything to do with the disappearance of Madeleine, nor do I believe that they would continue this search if they were guilty of any crime. Clearly if they had commited a crime, they have gotten away with it and there would be no need to keep on searching. There is no evidence at all to suggest that Madeleine is dead either so that leaves the only obvious option - She is still out there somewhere

People ask yourselves How can a child just disappear into thin air? How can the Portuguese police close this case? It's absolutely proposterous to think that a child can just be taken, can just disappear and that the police will close the case and stop searching. A little girl is out there somewhere, some one took her, some one has to know something. The Portuguese police only made the McCanns Aguido's when they realised that they couldn't solve the case, I beleivethey did this to cover their own asses. There is a substantial lack of evidence on all fronts but Madeleine McCann is a real girl, who had a real life once and now she is lost; a part of me is afraid that we will never know what happened to her.

Kate and Gerry McCann have been to hell and back, they are clearly haunted and their lives will never be the same again. They weren't irresponsible parents! Someone - A Man - broke into their apartment and abducted a child. Don't we care who this man is? Don't we need to protect other children from being kidnapped? It could be one of our children one day, there are millions of parents like the McCanns all over the world, how can we turn our backs?

Also I feel terrible for the friends of the McCanns who went back to Portugal to help with the reconstruction, it was clear that they were shaken and deeply upset. They all must have gone through hell during that investigation and some are kicking themselves that they didnt do more that night. Where is our compassion people? Lets have a bit of compassion, the McCanns are the victims in this situation, they are victims of a crime; child abduction.

I hope and pray from the bottom of my heart that Kate and Gerry McCann find the answers that they have been looking for. I hope and pray that someday they will feel at peace. I really hope one day soon that they are reunited with their daughter.

Channel 4 Britains Forgotten Children Season

Tonight I watched the investigative documentary by reporter Rageh Omarr called "Lost In Care" on Channel 4's Dispatches Britains Forgotten Children Season. It reminded me of my own childhood and the experiences that led me to being fostered by a family friend. I was living in London at the time and when Social Services did get involved I only had ONE meeting with them and I never heard from them again. EVER.
I barely got my GCSE's, never went to school and suffered from various emotional disturbances such as self harming and an eating disorder. I was completely let down at every turn and in the absense of good parenting and a caring environment my life was destined to go downhill.
My placement with the family friend however was not destined to be a success, her being an alcoholic and drug abuser who was happy to let me do whatever I pleased so long as I took care of her other children while she went out drinking. Of course this seemed like an ideal situation to me. I was fourteen and more or less had free reign and did whatever I wanted too. Of course in the long run having such a shitty care giver was bound to have disasterous consequences for me. I don't know if I would have been better off in the abusive home I'd left or the neglectful foster home that I was put in. I ended up homeless of course and it wasn't for the help of the Hastings family I would have been out on the street alone with no one in the world.
My point is that for the first time in ten years tonight I sat down and thought about the situation I was in then, the consequences it had on my life, the effect it still has to this day and the lack of support and help from Social Services and I realise that every one in society has a responsibility to make sure that ALL children have a safe and happy home to live in.
So now I'm thinking What can I do? Especially What can I do in my country to help children who are the most vulnerable. I was one of the lucky ones, I eventually reconciled with my mother but alot of children are not so lucky.

Fading Light of Day

Another day on the Emerald Isle is drawing to a close. I can smell the fumes from the neighbour's fires as they all start to light up, the light of day is fading away and with the day has gone some time that I'll never get back.
Strange and all as it might sound but I've never thought of time like that before, as something you lost; I always thought of time as something you should lose track of. There's a part of me now ( in all my infinite Wisdom) that understands how precious time is and how much you lose when you waste it.
I've wasted alot of time in my life, mostly on people who weren't worth it. Imagine what we could do if we used Every moment of the day to do something to better our selves or our lives! My advice for the day - Screw any one who stands in between you and your dreams! Reach for the stars Bitches!

These two fools have been making money for years out of prostituting their private lives and thier children but now that it suits them they want some privacy. I don't feel sorry for either of them, my sympathy goes out to the poor children who have to call these famewhores their parents.

Rest assured it's not Price or Andre who gets out of bed everyday to tend thier children but some poor misfortunate hired help, I can't see Katie Price wiping her own arse if she could get away with it. I for one will be delighted if Peter Andre manages to get a decent divorce settlement, he should be paid compensation for having to tolerate that silly trollop.

Eminem's New Music Is Crap!

It's been a while since the world has heard from Eminem and it's clear from listening to his new "music" that he's been spending far too much time alone or he's been spending all his time with people who enjoy blowing smoke up his ass. I think the latter option being the most likely.
I used to like Eminem, even though he's a homophobic hot mess, I kinda had him down as a mordern day Keats. There's nothing poetic or even remotely interesting about his sub-standard hip-hop beats and his creatively stifled lyrics though. He obviously beleives that by verbally bashing his competition he has somehow secured victory but I don't think the fans are fooled this time. Perhaps he should have tried going into rehab before writing about the relapse??
I for one am one Eminem fan who wont be stocking up on any of his new music because its bloody rubbish. Quick record companies run and fetch some new talking puppets to keep the masses happy.
